Juniper Hill Inn is one of the nicest bed and breakfasts, receiving five stars for location, ambiance, food, and exceptional service. Dinner in the elegant dining room of this gorgeous inn was impressive. The meal started with a top-notch cheese plate featuring local blue cheese with apricot/onion jam, black currants, grapes, and a balsamic and mustard drizzle. Generous portions and phenomenal presentation stood out. Maple glazed chicken with asparagus and fabulous bread pudding was enjoyed, with the chicken perfectly moist. A 10 oz. sirloin strip with truffled fingerlings and balsamic mushrooms was also delicious, with the steak cooked medium rare. The divine sides complemented the dish. An ample Manhattan from the bartender rounded out the evening perfectly. This hidden gem, discovered en route from Boston, is highly recommended.
